Gerard Depardieu and Fanny Ardant star in this romantic comedy about an upper-class, middle aged French Jewish couple facing the empty nest syndrome and a midlife crisis. A dream vacation to Israel to find their Jewish roots leads to a decision to move there. But once relocated, a series of misunderstandings and unrealistic expectations put their future in Israel together to the test.
