Rami Na’aman, director; Israel, 1994
Hebrew, Arabic w/ English subtitles; 95 min.

A story about rescuing Tel Aviv’s Bauhaus buildings, particularly those from the 1932 Levant Fair, symbolized by the sign The Flying Camel. Three odd characters come together—a history professor who lives in a junkyard, an Arab garbage man, and an “almost nun,” who work out their differences while forging an unusual friendship.
