Hebrew w/ English subtitles; 93 min.

Three dryly funny, yet deeply poignant episodes add up to the story of the Goldsteins, especially young son Udi. The first begins at the seashore; the second at Ashkelon, and the third ties together loose ends in a Tel Aviv apartment. In coping with friendship, love, sex, and death, the Goldsteins learn they can’t rely on fate, only on each other. “None of us are born parents,” says director Eitan Green. “Our children teach us how to be parents.”
