Shocking but true, many women are still being victimized by religious extortion. Leslee’s husband was having an affair with the babysitter, but it took 10 years of raising seven daughters on her own to be granted a “Get”, a traditional Jewish divorce. Another woman’s father paid over a half a million dollars for her freedom. This film is a revelation that illustrates how Jewish women all over the world are still being abused by this age old tradition.
Hosted by: Director, Beverly Siegel.
