The 150th Anniversary of the Civil War, A Jewish Perspective
Did you know that over 10,000 American Jews fought in the Civil War? 7,000 Jews fought for the North and 3,000 for the South, often dividing families. This film reveals many of the struggles never before told on film, including General Grant’s controversial decision to expel all Jews from his territory and the story of President Lincoln’s Jewish doctor who served as a spy in the South. It is a real eye-opener.
