Sponsored by: Bea Bloch & Alan Sagner Directed: Dana Doron and Uriel Sinai

Israel, 2012 / Hebrew with English subtitles / 60 minutes

NUMBERED is an explosive, highly visual, and emotionally cinematic journey, guided by testimonies and portraits of Holocaust survivors and children of survivors. The film documents the dismal time and setting during which tattoos were assigned as well as the meaning they took on in the years following the war. Surprisingly, the emotion-filled stories are in some cases mixed with humor, evidence that the human spirit can be uplifted even during the darkest of times.
