| ZELIMO
Palm Beach Premiere A coming-of-age film with a twist: through flashbacks, we’re introduced to Zelimo, a young Jewish boy, who escapes with his mother from Russia in the 1950s and joins relatives in New York. Sent to an Orthodox camp in the Catskills to learn more about his religion, he’s baited as a "commie" spy by the campers. During this pivotal summer, he’s befriended by his counselor Hector, a volatile Cuban Jew, who exposes Zelimo to another world. Guest: Aleks Rosenberg, director.
